Paddy McGuinness revisits his childhood Bolton house
Phoenix Nights star and Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness revisited his childhood house in Daubhill earlier this week Ââ" sharing a touching Instagram post about it.
Paddy, 48, who featured in Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy alongside Peter Kay Ââ" who grew up in Croston Street on the other side of St Helen's Road to Paddy â" spoke of 'very happy memories' as he visited the house he grew up in with his mum in Auburn Street, Daubhill.
Paddy posted: "Paid a visit to my old house. Me and my Mum lived in this two up two down housing association terrace all throughout my childhood and teenage years.
"Very happy memories here, although it definitely wasnât double glazed back then. The mighty Auburn Street, Bolton."
Paddy has always spoke highly of his Bolton roots. In May when the town saw long queues for Covid vaccines as infections spiked he said: "I flew the nest almost six years ago but all my friends and family are still there, along with my heart and soul. Itâs a strong town and Iâve no doubt theyâll get on top of this. Câmon Bolton!"
He now lives with his wife, Christine McGuinness, 33, and three children in Cheshire.
